Best Camera For Real Estate Photography | What to Look For
What should you look for when you’re looking for the best camera for real estate photography?
Really, when you buy any camera one of the first things to consider is what sensor size you need. These are the different sensor sizes available:
- Full frame
- APS-C
- Micro Four Thirds
- Medium Format
For this article we’re going to talk about the two most common camera sensors: Full Frame and APS-C
Full Frame Sensor Camera for Real Estate Photography
Generally speaking, full-frame cameras have higher resolution (more megapixels) and they take in more light compared to APS-C. Taking in more light they give you better control of the depth-of-field in different situations.
APS-C Sensor Camera for Real Estate Photography
APS-C sensor cameras have a smaller sensor compared to full-frame cameras. Yes, a smaller sensor means less image resolution. Even though at first you might think that they are just a worse alternative, always remember that they allow you to save a lot of money.
What this means is that you will have a higher budget when it comes to buying your lens. As we see in this article a lens is a more crucial piece of gear for your real estate photos.
